IT LIVES!!!
After 3 years waiting for me to get the time and parts to get it going my little Beemer (R1100S customized critter - what else) started first time today, settled quickly into an idle and cleared its throat from the spray oil mist that had been stuffed around it to try to ensure it would not just seize straight off the bat. A commute? or a swim
Riding to work yesterday, I was reminded of living back in England.  The air was cold and crisp and passing through a thick air the chill penetrated deeply, yet a bright globe could be seen trying to shine through thick icy cloud, like gazing at an old drafty halls outside light through the frosted glass window they all seem to have at their front door.  There was a lovely romance to the journey...
