After 3 years waiting for me to get the time and parts to get it going my little Beemer (R1100S customized critter - what else) started first time today, settled quickly into an idle and cleared its throat from the spray oil mist that had been stuffed around it to try to ensure it would not just seize straight off the bat.
The thing is quite amazing, it just ran and ran well immediately. What vehicle does that after three years of sitting in a garage in bits!!!!
Bit more work to do before its warranted/registered and back on the road but the thing is alive!!!!!
